Welcome Our New
Lead Pastor

Aaron Dalman

We extend a warm welcome to Aaron, Beth and family to PCC. After a months-long period of prayerful search and discernment, the Elders Board and membership unanimously voted to invite Reverend Aaron Dalman to join us in ministry. PCC has a long-standing passion for families of all kinds and Pastor Aaron’s previous experience complements that focus. He served as Pastor of Family Ministries at Martensville Baptist Church in Saskatchewan for almost 15 years. He noted, “Powers Creek Church is ideally situated on a hill overlooking the beautiful Okanagan Valley. This reminds me of Jesus’ words, ‘You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.’” However, he added, “The real asset of Powers Creek is its people, as Beth and I discovered during our times visiting the church. The congregation exudes warmth and willingness to serve. They want to flourish! This matches my heart for local church ministry. I want to be all that He wants me to be.” Aaron envisions Powers Creek as a community church reaching the families of the neighborhoods around our facility. His passion is “…to invest in and equip others for the work of the church.” He will begin in late August and a dedication service will take place in early Fall.

Office Manager

Powers Creek Church became a warm, welcoming place to call our new church home in late 2013. Our old church had closed its doors, and a group of us came to see what this church would be like. We immediately felt welcomed by the warm, kind people, and comfortable with a familiar set of Christian values. My family of four all attended, with our oldest son going to Youth, and our youngest son to NextGen (Sunday School). Powers Creek continues to be a loving church family. Since September 2017, I’ve had the pleasure of working in the church office, which helps me stay even more connected to everyone!

Transitional Pastor

Daryl and his wife Shirley live in West Kelowna. He has served as transitional pastor of Powers Creek Church since March of 2023. Previously, Daryl worked in a wide range of roles: chaplain at a seniors care home, Dean of a seminary, and transitional pastor in ten congregations across Western Canada. He loves kayaking and reading (but not at the same time!)
